No sew pillows
What you need
- Polar fleece (2 colours)
Cut 2 identical Squares from the fleece, one of each colour. To allow for a 8cm fringe, be sure to cut the squares 16cm larger than you want your finished pillow.
On 1 fleece square, use a ruler and chalk to draw a square 8cm in from the edge of the fabric. Measure and draw fringe that's about 2cm wide and 8cm long.
Stack the squares with your chalk lines on top. Cut the fringe, through both layers of fleece.
Begin at one corner of the square and tie the top piece of fringe to the bottom piece by double-knotting them. Continue until you have knotted 3 sides of the pillow. For the 4th side, tie a few fringes from the corners leaving a gap in the middle.
Stuff the square with fiberfill. Tie the remaining fringes. Brush off any chalk that still shows.
To finish glue a shape in a contrasting colour to one side of the pillow. Although this step prevents the pillow from being 'no sew' I have sometimes stitched the shape to the pillow.
