You might have noticed: kids like mess! And if that mess is gooey, colourful and transformable? Even better. Mix their mess making with gift giving and you have cute Chrissy gifts for the littlest girls in your life: playdough beads.
- Playdough (follow the no-cook recipe below)
- A wooden skewer
Make up your playdough and have the child roll it into small balls.
Use a wooden skewer to gently pierce each ball all the way through. Slightly wiggle it around to widen the hole a little.
Lie on an oven tray and place in an oven on low-heat for around 30 minutes. Keep checking to see how they've hardened and move them around every 10 minutes or so to ensure even hardening.
Once hard and cool, thread together on string, tie off and let the little ones enjoy!
