Sack race
The sack race is a classic party game that has been around forever. Children will love hopping along in their sacks competing against their friends for first prize!

- burlap sacks (these can be purchased inexpensively from a feed supply shop) or pillow cases can also be used as an alternative.
Activity:
It is wise to conduct a sack race on a soft grassy lawn.
Begin with each player stepping into their sack and pulling it up so they can take hold of the edges.
Before you begin a race allow children to practice hopping in their sacks.
Designate a start and finish line.
Line the children up at the start line and begin the race.
Whoever crosses the line first is the winner.
