Footprint ghost cards

Help kids celebrate Halloween amongst their friends by handing out these gorgeous cards for the occasion. They are so simple to make, you won't mind crafting them for family as well!

What you need:

  • black construction paper – A4 is fine
  • white paint
  • paint brush
  • newspaper
  • black marker
  • some feet to get messy
  • paint tray

Number of players:

Activity:

Step 1. Lay newspaper out to protect your surface.

Step 2. Fold your construction paper in half to create the card.

Step 3. Pour a small amount of paint into the tray.

Step 4. Dip your child's foot in to the paint and spread it about with the brush. Make sure it is only a thin layer so it dries quickly.

Step 5. Stamp the foot, toes to the bottom of the page, on to the front of the card and lift.

Step 6. Once dry, use the marker to draw on some eyes and a nose to the heel of the footprint. Your child's toes become the bottom of the ghost.

Step 7. Decorate and write in the card to hand out.
