Treasure hook

Treasure hook is played like lucky dip. An easy birthday party game, it is simple to set up and is always a crowd pleaser. So get your kids to sharpen their skills and see what they can capture as they fish for treasure! Great for pirate themed parties!

What you need:

• Small blow up pool or large bucket
• Wrapped up small treasures
• Ribbon for loop
• Fishing rod or bamboo with hook on end or wire hanger bent at the end

Activity:

First, wrap as many little treasures as there are children.

Then, tie ribbons around each one with sturdy bows that will allow the children to “hook” them with their pole.

Organise the children into a line behind the birthday child who will “fish” for treasure first.

A wire hanger straightened and then curved at the end works great for hooking a ribbon and retrieving a treasure.

Depending on the size of your pool or bucket, you can have multiple children fishing at once.
