Valentine’s garland

Valentine’s garland

A Valentine’s garland is a sweet addition to any home during Valentine’s season. Decorated with hearts and flowers, this garland will bring smiles to everyone. This is an easy project to do with the whoel family.

What you need:

  • Magazine pictures or coloured paper
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • String

Number of players:
1+

Activity:

Cut hearts of various sizes from the paper or magazines.

Working one heart at a time, run the string along the back of each heart.

Position the string towards the top of the curved edge on each side of the heart and staple in place.

The string should be in place across the back of each heart.

Repeat with more hearts until you have the number of hearts you want on your string.

Space out your hearts as you like, but leave about 20cm of string at each end so you can tie the garland up.

Hang your Valentine’s garland on the front door, in the yard or on a wall to add some Valentine’s cheer to your home.
