How to make a bag tag
Faced with a sea of school, instrument, sport or swimming bags that all look similar, it's no wonder bags go missing. Which is why you need a personalised bag tag, like this one ... Follow the instructions below to make a truly special tag that will help your kid find their school bag quickly when the bell goes.
You will need:
- suitable photo of your child
Now to make a bag tag
Save a suitable photo of your child on to your computer desktop.
Open www.picmonkey.com (a free, photo-editing site) and choose Edit Photo and the photo you want from your desktop. Use the tools on the left of the screen to crop, give special effects and add text (your child’s name) before saving to your desktop.
Open the pimped photo on your desktop, go to Tools at the top of your screen, choose adjust size, change pixels to cm from the dropdown menu and change the size to 7cm x 9cm.
Once you’re done, select the photo, paste it into a Word document and print.
Cut out the photo, cover in contact, trim to neaten and add a hole at the top using a holepunch. Thread a piece of string through the hole and tie to your child’s school bag. No more bag mix-ups!
