Make a bunny mask Easter hat
The Easter hat parade doesn't have to be all bonnets and nests of Easter eggs balanced on top of kids' heads, you know. What about this cool bunny mask? Use the FREE printable to create your own bunny mask for the Easter hat parade this year.
What you will need:
- 1 x FREE printable bunny mask template
- 1 x A4 sheet of card
- 1 x 5cm x 55cm piece of white card (approximate length, depending on the child's head size)
- white and brown felt (optional)
How to assemble the bunny mask
Print the template onto a piece of white A4 card and then cut out the pieces.
At this point you can embellish your mask however you like. I used felt to cover the whole thing and give it a 'bunny fur' look.
You could colour it with crayons or marker pens, add cotton balls for texture or just leave it as it is, if you like the stylish black and white look.
To assemble the mask, take your long strip of card (5cm x 55cm) and glue on the eyes at the top. Now glue or staple the ears just above the eyes.
Attach the nose strip (the long piece) to the headband at its thickest end and then to the nose at the other end. You may need to check the exact placement to ensure it sits properly over your child's nose.
Now adjust the headband to the size of your child's head and staple it together.
Voila! Ready to parade.
