Good sleeping patterns activity
Getting your baby to sleep in a calm environment will help develop good sleeping patterns and sleep time will be relaxing for baby and mum.
Keep the sleeping environment calm around his cot by removing any brightly coloured toys or mobiles.
The soothing sound of your voice can help your baby wind down, so sing him a lullaby.
Swaddle your baby for as long as he wants to, even if you just swaddle under his arms.
If your baby sleeps on his side with wedges, alternate the side on which he sleeps so that both sides of his body develop equally.
