Sleep time activity
Trying to get your baby to sleep can be hard at times, but there are ways to try and make sleep time easier for both baby and mum.
What you need:
- Night light
- Baby wrap
Put your baby to sleep in a dark room with a dimmed night light, so that she associates sleep time with the dark.
You can put on some calming music for baby to help her fall asleep.
Swaddle your baby with a baby wrap, so that she is warm and comfortable.
Place baby on her back to sleep as this is the most comfortable and safest position for her.
Place a small piece of clothing that smells of you at the foot of the bed, as this can be soothing for your baby.
