Autumn leaf crowns
When autumn leaves fall, it's a great time to get outside and enjoy the crisp weather. Start with an autumn leaf collecting activity and finish it off with some autumn crafts using your leaves. Try this easy autumn leaf crown.
Number of players:
What you need:
- A good collection of autumn leaves from outside
- 10cm x 65cm strip of white cardboard
Spend the morning outside collecting a big bagful of autumn leaves. Any sort will do, but plain tree leaves are the classic autumn shape and there will be plenty of them wherever there are plain trees.
Bring home your leaves and stick them onto your strips of cardboard to make your crown.
Wait for the glue to dry (or there will be tears when the leaves fall off!) and then staple the crown to size by measuring it on your child's head.
Voila! A very regal autumn crown.
