Roll it up, multiplication
Maths can be daunting for some kids and introducing them to their times tables can be difficult. By the time you are finished with this simple maths games for kids, you will be injecting the enthusiam back in to maths and having so much fun, the kids won't want to stop!
Number of players:
What you need:
- a pair of dice
Player 1 rolls the dice.
On a piece of paper, write the numbers that appear on the dice as a maths equation. For example, if 2 and a 6 were rolled, you would write it down as 2 x 6 =
Player 2 has a turn and write their numbers and equation down.
Take turns in rolling the dice and writing down multiplication problems. Minimum five turns each.
Now each player solves their maths problems, wirting down the answers.
Add up the totals of the results. The player with the highest total wins.
