Homemade face paint
Painting faces could easily be one of the highest ranking activities at a birthday party. Thinking about it, take the kids anywhere with a face painter and you a going to be nagged until you give in! Why not solve the problem and make your own? You will be the most popular parent in town!
What you need:
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp flour
- small bowl
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- food colouring
Step 1. Mix cornstarch and flour in a small bowl.
Step 2. Stir in corn syrup and water and keep stirring until the mixture is smooth.
Step 3. Divide the mixture into small containers - the number depending on how many different colours you want to make.
Step 4. Add different colours of food colouring to each container until you get the colour strength you want.
Step 5. The paint is now ready for face painting and can be applied using a small paintbrush.
