Simple St Patrick's Day headpiece
St Patrick's Day is a fun time to give a nod to the Irish. With some green felt and a headband, you can make this simple little headpiece to add just enough luck of the Irish for some school day fun.
What you need:
- green felt
- wide green headband
- hot glue gun
You'll need to cut three strips of felt: two that are 1.5cm wide x 8cm long; and one that is 1.5cm wide x 10cm long.
Fold each strip in half. Staple it on the fold (see video).
Now bend it back the other way into a heart shape (see video).
Using the hot glue gun, stick the bottom edges of each heart together.
Then, with the larger heart in the middle, hot glue the smaller hearts on either side.
Now hot glue the three felt hearts – which should now look like a shamrock – to the headband.
