Clay play
Children will have hours of fun playing with clay and creating different shapes or objects.What You Need:
- Clay (from craft supply shops)
- Cookie cutters
- Water
- Colouring
- Paint
Activity:
Give children a small lump of clay.Let them form whatever animal or object they wish with their clay by molding it into shape.
To help shape the animal or object, use cookie cutters.
Have a bowl of water available to act like glue when molding clay pieces together.
You can also add food colouring to the clay before it hardens to change the colour, or once it hardens, kids can paint their sculptures.
