Crayon Pictures
Create a Crayon Pictures with your child with this great art and craft kids activity. This project is fabulous for kids who love to draw and get messy as they have fun. So get your spare crayons out and get going!Number of Players:
1+What You Need:
- Old crayons
- Grease proof OR wax paper
- Iron
- Cheese grater
Activity:
Gather up old crayons and divide into different colours. Grate the crayons using a cheese grator into piles.It's best to keep the colours separate but your little artist may prefer blended colours.
Encourage your child to make a design or picture on the wax paper using the gratings - perhaps a sun and trees or something easy to start.
When they are finished, cover this with another piece of wax paper and iron the two pieces together using a cool iron. That's it!
