Make a Kite that can FLY
Nothing beats flying a kite, so why not Make A Kite with your kids? This is an easy art and craft kids activity that you can enjoy together and head to the park to fly your creation when you are done.Number of Players:
1+What You Need:
- 1 sheet of copier paper
- Thread
- Stapler
- Hole punch
Activity:
Let your child draw and decorate the paper on both sides with felt pens or crayons (the brighter the better so they can see their art as it soars through the sky). Or, select a theme and print a coloring page image on both sides of the paper for them to colour. Now let's begin...Fold the sheet of paper in half... Mark two points, A and B on the folded edge of the paper. Point "A" should be 6.35cm or 2 1/2 from the end, and point "B", 6.35cm or 2 1/2 inches.
Fold the top corners of the page to point A and staple them in place. Do not crease the paper. Just bend it back.
Punch a hole at point B and attach your flying thread. That's all!!
