Ingredients:
- 100g white chocolate, chopped
- 100g dark or milk chocolate, chopped
Method:
You will need small round chocolate moulds or small foil cases or small silicone cups for this recipe.
Place the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds; stir and repeat process in 30 second intervals until melted and smooth (took 1 min 30 sec in my microwave). Place the dark or milk chocolate in a separate heatproof bowl and repeat microwave process.
Place a teaspoon of melted white chocolate and a teaspoon of dark or milk chocolate in a mould. Use a toothpick to swirl the chocolates together for a marbled effect. Don’t stir too much! If the chocolates (in the bowls) start to set before you are finished, just reheat for 10-20 seconds in the microwave.
Leave the marbled chocolates at room temperature until set (a couple of hours). If the chocolates are in moulds or silicon cups, gently press out.
Notes:
- A great recipe for the kids; if your children are a bit too young to be in charge of the microwave, melt the chocolate for them and then let them go!
- Place finished chocolates in small paper or foil cases for gifts. If you have an empty chocolate box in the house, fill it up with your homemade goodies.
