Jelly and custard desserts recipe
- 1 packet Cherry jelly
- 500mL thick vanilla custard
- Fresh cherries, to garnish
Prepare jelly according to packet directions. Pour jelly into four serving glasses. Place the glasses into small plastic containers on an angle so the jelly sets on a slant. Refrigerate until set.
Carefully spoon custard on top of jelly and top with some fresh cherries.
- Simple tricks like this make your kids think you are awesome! Adults are generally quite impressed too – makes it easy to get custard and jelly on the spoon at the same time.
- Make the jellies a day or so before needed and then top up with custard just before serving.
