Ladybird cupcakes recipe
- 1 quantity of prepared basic cupcakes
- 1 quantity of prepared buttercream icing
- red food colouring
- white marshmallows
- musk sticks
- red writing icing
- milk choc chips
Tint the buttercream icing with a little of the red food colouring.
Spread icing all over the cupcakes making a nice round shape for the Ladybirds back.
Make a line with the writing icing down the centre of the ladybirds back.
Cut a cross section of marshmallow with scissors and then cut that cross section down the middle. Place this for the face.
Place choc chips on the back to make the spots.
Using a cotton bud dipped in the red food colouring, draw on the face.
Cut the must sticks in half and then cut a diagonal slice of the half for the antennas. Push these into the icing.
- You could use a black licorice strap for the centre line down the back but I ran out, so I used writing icing.
