Bircher muesli recipe
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup yoghurt (any flavour)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ½ cups orange juice (REAL juice is better)
- ½ cup (or more if preferred) sultanas
If you have time, soak the oats for a couple of hours in the fruit juice. Then add everything else in together and refrigerate overnight before stirring and eating.
No time to soak? Toss everything into a bowl and mix. Leave overnight in the fridge, stir and eat!!
Optional extras: pumpkin seeds & sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, chopped dried apricots or other dried fruits, coconut or serve with fresh fruit.
