Oaty crisp biscuits recipe

  • 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cups rolled oats
  • 90g butter, cubed
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup raisins


Preheat oven to 200 C. Cover a baking tray with baking paper and set aside.

In a bowl, sift flour and baking powder and stir through rolled oats.

Rub through butter with your fingers until the mix resembles crumbs. Stir in honey, milk and raisins until well combined and chill for 20 minutes until golden.

Remove from fridge and roll into balls, place on tray and slightly flatten with a fork.

Bake for 15- 20 minutes.
