Bull's eye egg recipe
- 1 slice wholemeal bread
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp butter
Butter the bread on both sides. Using a small round cutter, cut a hole out of the centre.
Place a frying pan on a low heat. Cook the bread on one side until browned.
Flip the bread over and gently break the egg into the hole. Cook on low heat until the eggs is set to your liking.
- This is a fun way to team eggs and toast and makes it a little more interesting for the kids.
- I have been known to spread a little Vegemite on the bread after cooking. I love the saltiness with the egg.
