Creamy mango iceblocks recipe
This creamy mango iceblock recipe can be made with fresh or tinned mango. They are rich and creamy and some people have said they taste like a Weiss bar. Find more on Kidspot New Zealand's recipe finder.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 400g tinned mango or 2 fresh mangoes peeled and de-seeded
- 250 ml thickened cream
In a small saucepan, heat the sugar and water and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from the heat and add the mango and cream.
Use a stick mixer or blender to puree the mixture.
Pour into iceblock moulds and freeze.
- This is my husband's absolute favourite ice cream. You can swap the mango for different fruits like strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
