Red egg recipe
This red egg recipe is a great baby and toddler meal and a great way to get a serve of protein and fruit into their diet. Find more on Kidspot New Zealand's recipe finder.
- 1 egg
- 1 tomato, finely diced
Place egg in a small saucepan and cover with water.
Bring to the boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
Cut the top off the egg and spoon into a bowl.
Stir through tomato.
- I prefer to make this 2 portions at a time, so I double the recipe.
- Red egg is suitable for babies in the 8-9 months range that have already been introduced to egg.
