Easy spaghetti bolognaise recipe

This Spaghetti bolognaise is an easy family staple and this recipe uses tomato soup to give you that great tomato taste. Find more on Kidspot New Zealand



  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 500g minced beef
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 tin tomato soup
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • salt and pepper


In a pan, heat the oil and brown the mince onion and garlic.

Add the tomato paste to the pan and cook for 2 minutes.

Stir in the tomato sauce, sweet chilli, red wine, chicken stock, tomato soup and oregano.

Bring to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.

Serve over hot spaghetti.
