Homemade strawberry frozen yoghurt recipe
- 500g low-fat Greek style yoghurt
- 1 punnet strawberries
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp honey
Hull and slice strawberries and sprinkle icing sugar and lemon juice over the top and leave for half and hour to mascerate.
Blend strawberries, honey and yoghurt together and pour into a shallow container.
Place in the freezer for 2 hours and remove and mash with a spoon. Place back in freezer and repeat.
- Removing this mix and stirring it a few times breaks up the ice crystals and makes it creamier
- You can exchange the strawberry for any fruit you like. I love to use mango as well.
