Vegemite spaghetti recipe
- 375g thin spaghetti
- 50g butter
- 1 tbsp Vegemite
Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Save a cup of pasta water and drain the pasta into a colander.
Return the pot to the heat and melt the butter. Add the Vegemite into the butter with a splash of pasta water and combine.
Return the pasta to the pot and stir to coat the pasta in the sauce.
Serve in warm bowls with Parmesan cheese if you prefer.
- This will become a kid's favourite dish but I find it disturbing that there are no vegetables!
