Strawberry dipping platter recipe

This platter is one for the lovers. Place it alongside the champagne on Valentine’s Day for a light treat to share with the one you love. Find more on Kidspot New Zealand.



  • 2 punnets strawberries
  • 200g light sour cream
  • ½ cup brown sugar


Rinse the strawberries and pat dry with paper towel.

Slice the strawberries in half and arrange on a platter.

Place the sour cream and brown sugar into separate bowls and place on the platter.

Using a fork, dip the strawberries in the sour cream and dip into the brown sugar and eat!


  • You can use regular sour cream or crème fraiche in place of the light sour cream in this recipe.
