Fruity ice cubes recipe

Fruity ice cubes can be used in cordial, water or alcoholic beverages. Use seasonal fruit and complementary flavours to chill and flavour your drinks. Find more on Kidspot New Zealand.

  • fresh orange juice
  • pineapple juice
  • watermelon puree
  • passionfruit pulp
  • blueberries
  • raspberries
  • strawberry slices
  • lemon slices
  • boiled water

Place ice cube trays on a baking sheet so you can easily move them to the freezer.

Add fruit pieces to each slot and cover with boiled water. Or fill with juice and fruit or juice on its own.

Place in the freezer to freeze.

  • You can add these cubes to sugar-free cordial, alcoholic drinks, fruit punch or just to some chilled water.
  • I use boiled water as it tends to make clearer ice cubes.
