White chocolate-chip brownies recipe
If you are looking for an easy brownie recipe that's packed full of chocolate, these white chocolate chip brownies are for you! These brownies take less than 15 minutes to make and the hardest part is waiting for them to cook!
- 150 g butter
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 50 g milk chocolate chips
- 200 g white chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 160C (140C fan-forced), and line the base and sides of a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper. Place the butter, cocoa and sugar into a large saucepan and cook over a low heat (stirring occasionally) for approximately 3-4 minutes until the ingredients have melted and combined.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the vanilla extract and eggs and quickly whisk to combine.
Sift the flour over the top of the melted ingredients and whisk to combine.
Add the milk chocolate chips and approximately 150g of the white chocolate chips to the brownie mixture and gently stir to combine.
Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the surface. Sprinkle the remaining white chocolate chips over the top and place the brownies into the oven to bake for 35 minutes.
Carefully remove the cooked brownies from the oven and allow them to cool in the tin before removing to cut into small pieces.
- If you like a richer flavour, try replacing some of the chocolate chips with dark chocolate.
- These brownies are perfect for kids' parties (and adults' parties too!).
