Choc chip cookies recipe
Choc chip cookies are everyone's favourite biscuit and make a delicious treat to pop into your child's lunch box or as an afternoon tea snack to enjoy with a big glass of milk.
- 125g butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cups Self raising flour
- 150g milk choc chips.
Preheat moderate oven. Grease approximately 3 trays.
Cream together butter, sugars and vanilla.
Add lightly beaten egg gradually. Mix in sifted flour and salt. Add choc chips.
Roll into balls and put on prepared trays.
Cook for 8-12 minutes.
