Mystery matchboxes

Children love mystery, this game is fun as they try and feel and hear what is in the mystery matchbox. Will they guess it right?!

What you need:

• Matchboxes
• Nails
• Pins
• Rice
• Peanuts

Activity:

Get eight matchboxes and fill them with a material of choice, for example nails, rice, pins, peanuts etc

Write the numbe of contents on each box.

Tell the children what the contents of the boxes are, but not which box they are in.

They then shake the boxes to try and match the correct box number with the contents.
